Life satisfaction among spouses aged over 50 is strongly interrelated, according to a longitudinal study by the University of Eastern Finland and the Finnish Institute for Health and Welfare. The extensive, Europe-wide study of nearly 25,000 couples also showed that factors related to health and socioeconomic status did not alter the association of life satisfaction between spouses.
