According to new research, 42% of Australians still have low awareness of coercive control. The study, published in the Australian Journal of Social Issues, revealed that nearly half of respondents were unfamiliar with the term or its meaning. The paper is titled “Public Awareness in Australia About Coercive Control in the Context of Intimate Partner Relationships.”
